PPPoE Setup Instructions

e-wire uses PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) as the connection method. PPPoE is essentially the same as a PPP dialup connection, but instead of using a dialup modem, the connection goes over an Ethernet or USB connection to your broadband modem.

Other versions of windows require the use of software called RASPPPOE. The installation file is available here

Connection Type: ‘Dynamic IP Address that uses a Username & Password’ or ‘PPPoE’
Username: Your full primary email address i.e. user@e-wire.net.au
Password: Your password
Domain (or Realm): Leave blank
Idle Timeout: 0
